Registration will open at 8 a.m. on March 1st for the 2024 FAIR. You may reserve your site online only. You may reserve only one site per transaction. Please note any reservation made before 8 a.m. and/or have multiple sites listed will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding!

You’ll also need to fill out and bring with you a signed copy of our UTV Rules and Campground Rules and Regulations.

  1. Anyone camping on the fairgrounds must also follow GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS. If not followed you will lose the next fair year rights to reserve a campsite.

  2. Campers need to be removed from fairgrounds by the Monday after fair of current year. If not removed by Monday, a $25 per day fee may be accessed. All remaining campers still on grounds 5 days after that Monday may be towed at the owner’s expense.

  3. All campsites are required to have one camping unit (camper or tent) on the site. At least one (1) adult chaperone (ages 21 & over) must stay in each campsite every night.

  4. All spaces will be numbered and assigned by the Camping Committee.

  5. Camping check-in-times for fair camping will be any time after noon on Wednesday, before Fair until Saturday at 6 p.m. (Camping sites numbers will be first come first serve basis by picking from drop down menu while registering). Early release of Campers prior to last Sunday of Fair must be approved by the camping committee by June 1st. Early Release Request form online.

  6. Vacuum Breakers must be properly installed on every unit & NO “Y”’s connected to water supply.

  7. Absolutely NO drainage of wastewater on the grounds. It must be dumped at the dump station. If found uncompliant you may be liable for fines.

  8. Campers are responsible to take their garbage to dumpsters & NO generators between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

  9. All campers must park on their own campsite. Camper permit must be displayed on door side window. Fire Lane & Roadway must be clear at all times or vehicle will be towed at owner’s expense.

  10. Extension cords plugged into camper MUST be same weight/gauge as camper cord & supply own pigtails.

  11. Campfires must be contained within a fire ring.

  12. Use of motorized vehicles:

  • a.)  During the Fair, all motorized recreational vehicles (golf carts and UTVs only) must be registered with the Fair Office by the FIRST Sunday by 5pm. A registration application along with a copy of current liability insurance, a copy of the driver’s license of all persons authorized to operate the vehicle, and a $40 registration fee must be provided. A numbered identification will always be provided to be affixed to the vehicle. Unregistered vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

  • b.)  No motorized recreational vehicles are allowed on the midway during operating hours except for emergency personnel. All UTVs must stay within designated areas. No 4-Her’s will be allowed to drive UTVs after dark. Please review fairground map for designated areas upon receipt of numbered ID.

  • c.) No unlicensed drivers will be allowed to operate a vehicle on Fairgrounds. Excessive Speed (over 15mph), careless driving, driving on the midway, driving that endangers the operator, occupants, or the public will receive a warning. Anyone who has been warned of improper use of their vehicle more than one time will be required to surrender their identification form and must park the vehicle for the duration of the Fair.

  • d.) Fair Board Members and the local law enforcement personnel are authorized to enforce and administer the above rules. This will ensure that all visitors have an enjoyable and safe Fair.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  1. Reservations may NOT be submitted before 8:00am March 1. You may reserve your site online only. You may reserve only one site per transaction. Please note any reservation made before 8 a.m. and/or have multiple sites listed will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding.
    No refunds will be issued after June 1st.

  2. All reservations will be dated upon receipt, and lots assigned by picking from drop menu – First Come First Served – with full payment.

  3. FULL PAYMENT must accompany reservation to hold your site.
    Your confirmation will be your receipt when you complete registration online.

  4. All campsite registration questions will be handled by the Camping Committee. DO NOT call the Fair Office or MSUE for this information. For registration Information: Jennifer Senn 616-690-6131.

  5. Camping Registration Fee DOES NOT include a Parking Pass. Parking Passes are required for ANY & ALL vehicles entering the Fairgrounds. Parking Fees are $10.00 per day/per vehicle or $20.00 per week/per vehicle. All animal or still exhibitors are expected to obtain a parking pass no exceptions.

  6. Parking Passes WILL NOT be mailed. You may pick them up from the Fair office by Sunday or at the gate starting Monday of fair week.
