Reading for Rides

Reading is fun, but it is also an important life skill, vital for the transition of youth to adulthood. In partnership with local libraries, Greenville Area Community Foundation and many local sponsors, “Reading for Rides” is an opportunity for children 12 years old and under to be rewarded for reading. In order to receive their reward, the “Reading for Rides” registration form needs to be completed (including the titles of the 5 books read for each child) and redeemed during Kids’ Day at the Montcalm County Fair on Friday, June 23rd. Upon doing so, recipients will be able to ride carnival rides from 12-4pm at the Montcalm County Fair on Friday, June 23rd – for FREE! Come early to enjoy other Kids Day festivities happening around the fairgrounds starting at 10 a.m.  Reading can grow on you too! Registration forms can be found at your local library, online registration is closed.

Thank you to our sponsors:

Greenville Area Community Foundation, Oberlin Group Wealth Advisors of Raymond James, Home Works, Howard City Veterinary Services, Dean’s Excavating, Double A Lawn Care, Family Fun Tyme Amusements
